Comprehensive rehabilitation
The Comeback Center’s close cooperation with Santasport enables a versatile and comprehensive rehabilitation plan to be carried out under one roof, without unnecessary transfers from one place to another. The Comeback Center’s physiotherapists and doctors are based at Santasport in the Ounasvaara area, which means that both the training sessions and the appointments with the physiotherapist and doctor can be held in the same premises. Santasport and Ounasvaara’s grounds offer exclusive opportunities for exercise, rehabilitation and coaching both indoors and outdoors.
The Santasport Leisure and Training Centre has several different gyms, an indoor running track, indoor playing fields, a swimming pool and physiotherapy treatment rooms. There are also hockey and football halls in the grounds. Ounasvaara’s brooks and forests with trails for both running and mountain biking, and in winter ski trails, fatbike trails and snowshoe trails leave right from the Comeback Center’s doorstep. The Ounasvaara ski resort is less than a kilometre away.
